Although we are born into this world, as believers, we are not of this world. After we accepted Jesus as our Lord and savior, our spirits were born again from above.
We have become kingdom citizens of heaven and we have nothing else to do with this world or anything in it. We are to live our lives like we belong in heaven, not here.
We are only here for a very short moment of our existence. After we leave this world and move on to the next one we will live on in complete joy and happiness that will never go away.
Once we are born again, our spirits become alive to God and we are no longer bound to this world, which is ruled by satan, the enemy of God. It is our obligation and privilege to live in this world representing Jesus and following His way.
